❖ Hook 1
Quinn is, and always has been, a proud son of Dalmasca, even if he can't remember a time before the Garleans' conquest of it. But growing up in an isolated jungle village allowed him to remain immersed in the old ways for much of his life, and shaped him into the fierce patriot he is today. As such, while he is fond of all his fellow countrymen, so long as they didn't bend the knee to the imperials, he especially gravitates towards those like him, who share his beliefs and his passions for the way Dalmasca was before the Empire broke it in two.❖ Hook 2
Though not born in Dalmasca Superior, Quinn eventually wound up there as a palace guard captain in Rabanastre, and as such was there when the city was razed to the ground as well. Such trauma both catalyzed his desire to rebel, as well was seared deeply into his psyche, for better or worse. He would be keenly interested in connecting with other survivors of that day, especially fellow guards or anyone else who joined the Dalmascan resistance thereafter.❖ Hook 3
Once part of the resistance, Quinn's skill in combat, iron resolve, and natural leadership abilities skyrocketed him through the ranks of Lente's Arrow until he was looked to as one of group's main leaders. However a singular goal drove him: vengeance upon Noah van Gabranth and the IVth Legion. As such, he was quick to volunteer himself to aid the Bozjans in their own resistance efforts, and helped lead the charge against Castrum Lacus Litore and Delubrum Reginae, as well as the Dalriada. Any other veterans of either the Bozjan Southern Front, or Zadnor, he could very well know, and would certainly welcome. If his own reputation doesn't precede him.❖ Hook 4
Garleans and their collaborators, beware. Though his hatred for Garlemald no longer burns as hotly as it once did before, Quinn is still no friend to most imperials and their sympathizers, especially purebloods and soldiers. He'll hold his tongue out of respect for his spouse, but only for so long, and all bets are off if he hears any bragging about war crimes or 'savages'. Neither does he have any patience for Garleans who still cling to their nationalistic fervor. Interact at your own risk, as he did not earn his epithet of 'the Executioner' for nothing.❖ Hook 5
Now with the Empire fallen, and all its conquered provinces essentially freed, Quinn now finds himself back in his homeland after years on battlefields, and into a new role: A field commander for the Rumta-Zaraam, a Dalmascan organization tasked with hunting down imperial war criminals and bringing them to justice. And though his new work keeps him mainly within Dalmasca and Ilsabard, he is no stranger to tracking his marks to the Far West or the Far East, and is always appreciative of any help he can get.❖ Hook 6
Somehow, someway, Quinn came into the possession of a monstrous magitek sniper rifle, which is still an impressive size even when half-collapsed to better fit on his back. He's rarely seen with it on him these days, unless in active pursuit of a mark, and neither does he seem keen on talking about it, or how he acquired it. But there's no harm in trying, as there's also no doubt that it is certainly a piece of Garlean ingenuity.
