With a reputation for being sharp, stoic, and no-nonsense, Quinn has risen to become an iconic figure within the Bozjan Resistance, despite not being from Bozja himself at all. Hailing from the neighboring Dalmasca, he's a respected commander within the Lente's Arrow cell of the Dalmascan Resistance, and volunteered himself to lend the Southern Front aid and expertise, though it was not from the kindness of his heart that he did so.A survivor of the sacking of Rabanastre, Quinn has burned with a hatred and rage ever since that day, swearing vengeance upon Noah van Gabranth and the entire IVth Legion, vowing to put each and every one of them to the sword for what they had done to his people. And now with that opportunity finally right in front of him, he plans to seize it or die trying, stalking the battlefields of Bozja and Zadnor with his mysterious, monstrous rifle in hand, intent on being the killing blow for both van Gabranth and the Dalriada.

Cold, efficient, and ruthless, Quinn is a force of nature unto himself. As patient as stone, and as unforgiving as a hurricane, there is an intensity to him that permeates everything he does, from his piercing gaze to his powerful movements. With an unshakeable resolve and an iron will, he is possessed of a single-minded focus upon his goals, and once he has chosen a path for himself, only an act of the gods can shake him from it. Maybe.Past trauma had once turned him bitter and hateful, however, had turned him willing to burn himself up in the fires of anger and grief if it meant he could get his revenge. He saw the world only in black and white, and refused to consider the complexities of shades of gray. For better, and for worse, turning himself into a monster not unlike those he hunted. But those days are behind him now, though he is still as quiet and solemn a creature as ever, still as sharp and sudden as a dagger in the dark. But now he laughs more, smiles more, finds himself finally beginning to let go and move on, and return to the man he once was. Regardless, however, he remains no-nonsense and stoic, but perhaps has now had some of the weight lifted off of his shoulders.

His past is not something Quinn speaks much upon, if at all. Most in the Bozjan Resistance only know the bare basics about him: A Dalmascan Resistance leader with a chip on his shoulder and a burning hatred for the Garleans. And frankly, given his abrasive and cold demeanor, that's all they care to know, really; That's all they need to know, really. However, fellow Dalmascans tend to coax more of his story out of him, depending on the situation. That he was a captain of the guard for the royal palace at Rabanastre. That he was there the day the IVth Legion razed the city to the ground to snuff out the growing rebellion. But few get much more than that. However, not too long into his time on the Southern Front, he was assigned the task of keeping an eye on a Garlean engineer who had defected and surrendered to the resistance one night. Used to working on his own and independently of the Bozjan Resistance's chain of command, Quinn resented his new duties as much as he resented his new charge, one Fiore jen Drusus, but ever was he a disciplined man and so stuck to his orders. But Fiore needed a constant supply of ceruleum and a distraction from the hatred the rest of the resistance showed them, and offered Quinn a deal: two-man excursions onto the battlefields, so Fiore could scavenge the magitek wreckage for what they needed. In return, they would act as bait to lure other imperials close, close enough for Quinn to snipe with his rifle. And if they tried to run, well, Quinn could shoot them too.Leery, but itching to return to active duties, and sate his thirst for vengeance, Quinn agreed, and fruitful partnership was born. One that slowly brought Fiore and Quinn closer together over the months, as trust was built and common ground was found. And when Fiore was taken hostage by the imperials in Castrum Lacus Litore, Quinn personally saw to their rescue, much to the surprise of his fellow rebels; Quinn had always been a staunch opponent of the Empire, and his hatred of them was vehement and all-consuming. For him to care about one enough to save their life was a shock, but both he and Fiore have time and again refused to speak on the nature of their relationship, insisting that there is nothing to speak upon. But the two have been inseparable since, with Quinn acting as something of a bodyguard and keeper for Fiore, who refuses to work with anyone else in turn. Though now with the war ended and the Empire collapsed, it's telling that Fiore's elected to return to Dalmasca with Quinn...

Hook 1
Quinn is, and always has been, a proud son of Dalmasca, even if he can't remember a time before the Garleans' conquest of it. But growing up in an isolated jungle village allowed him to remain immersed in the old ways for much of his life, and shaped him into the fierce patriot he is today. As such, while he is fond of all his fellow countrymen, so long as they didn't bend the knee to the imperials, he especially gravitates towards those like him, who share his beliefs and his passions for the way Dalmasca was before the Empire broke it in two.
Hook 2
Though not born in Dalmasca Superior, Quinn eventually wound up there as a palace guard captain in Rabanastre, and as such was there when the city was razed to the ground as well. Such trauma both catalyzed his desire to rebel, as well was seared deeply into his psyche, for better or worse. He would be keenly interested in connecting with other survivors of that day, especially fellow guards or anyone else who joined the Dalmascan resistance thereafter.
Hook 3
Once part of the resistance, Quinn's skill in combat, iron resolve, and natural leadership abilities skyrocketed him through the ranks of Lente's Arrow until he was looked to as one of group's main leaders. However a singular goal drove him: vengeance upon Noah van Gabranth and the IVth Legion. As such, he was quick to volunteer himself to aid the Bozjans in their own resistance efforts, and helped lead the charge against Castrum Lacus Litore and Delubrum Reginae, as well as the Dalriada. Any other veterans of either the Bozjan Southern Front, or Zadnor, he could very well know, and would certainly welcome. If his own reputation doesn't precede him.
Hook 4
Garleans and their collaborators, beware. Though his hatred for Garlemald no longer burns as hotly as it once did before, Quinn is still no friend to most imperials and their sympathizers, especially purebloods and soldiers. He'll hold his tongue out of respect for his spouse, but only for so long, and all bets are off if he hears any bragging about war crimes or 'savages'. Neither does he have any patience for Garleans who still cling to their nationalistic fervor. Interact at your own risk, as he did not earn his epithet of 'the Executioner' for nothing.
Hook 5
Now with the Empire fallen, and all its conquered provinces essentially freed, Quinn now finds himself back in his homeland after years on battlefields, and into a new role: A field commander for the Rumta-Zaraam, a Dalmascan organization tasked with hunting down imperial war criminals and bringing them to justice. And though his new work keeps him mainly within Dalmasca and Ilsabard, he is no stranger to tracking his marks to the Far West or the Far East, and is always appreciative of any help he can get.
Hook 6
Somehow, someway, Quinn came into the possession of a monstrous magitek sniper rifle, which is still an impressive size even when half-collapsed to better fit on his back. He's rarely seen with it on him these days, unless in active pursuit of a mark, and neither does he seem keen on talking about it, or how he acquired it. But there's no harm in trying, as there's also no doubt that it is certainly a piece of Garlean ingenuity.
